Gorilla Valley Lodge
Gorilla Valley Lodge is a comfortable budget-friendly lodge on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – 30 minutes from the park headquarters in Rushaga. Bwindi is home to the mountain gorillas in Uganda. When you stay here, these ‘ gentle giants ‘ are your neighbors. Sometimes they come to visit to spend some time in the garden or in the small valley in front of the lodge. The name is therefore a fitting choice for this unique place. The sounds of the jungle are your alarm clock. The early bird can then experience with their own eyes how the mist lifts and Bwindi awaken.

Where you sleep
Warm rooms with an en-suite bathroom and hot shower, and a private verandah looking into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Built from local materials, with enough space to spread out wet trekking kit at the end of a long day. Children under five sharing existing bedding with their parents stay free.
Restaurant, bar and lounge
High on the hill, the main building of Gorilla Valley Lodge is the first thing that catches the eye. Here you will find the lounge and the restaurant. In the lounge, you can relax by the fire, but you can also make yourself comfortable on the veranda. The elevated location means that the view from the main building is stunning. On one side, you look out over Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, while on the other, you can see the fields of the local population.
Also, listen to the sound of the Nsonghi River flowing past in the valley. In the restaurant, you can enjoy an international buffet prepared by Ugandan chef. Here you can enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner: a carefully curated selection of tasty dishes.
