Mburo Eagles Nest
You will Mburo Eagles Nest on Riyemitana Hill, which borders Lake Mburo National Park. This comfortable budget-frindly tented camp was established in 2012. Its name is inspired by the eagles soaring past and the truly breathtaking view over the park. This accommodation has some of most beautiful views of Uganda. Moreover, every safari tent has its own veranda where you can enjoy that view. For dinner, we light a wood fire and use large African potjies. In short, here you enjoy the real African feeling!

Where you sleep
Safari Tents which are self-contained with a panoramic verandah and in some units a bathroom open to the sky and non-self-contained tents which are simple canvas sharing a bathroom block. You can also pitch your own tent at $15 per person including breakfast.
Restaurant and bar at Mburo Eagles Nest
In the center of Mburo Eagles Nest is the central building housing the reception, restaurant, and bar. Here, you dine while listening to the sounds of the park: neighing plains zebras, chirping crickets, and grunting warthogs. The meals are prepared in typical African ‘potjies’ and are therefore called ‘potjiekos’.
Restaurant, bar and lounge
The camping area is located close to the restaurant. Upon arrival, your furnished tent will already be ready for you. They feature two single beds with a bedside table. All tents are situated under a thatched roof, providing you with a private terrace where you can sit comfortably in the shade. On the side of the campsite, you will find the shared sanitary facilities with separate toilets and showers. You do not need to worry about linens, as all bedding and towels are provided.
