8 Day Uganda Safari

The special 8-Days Uganda Safari trip begins in Kigali, Rwanda.  From here, you will tour the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund at Volcanoes National Park. This world-leading research Centre focuses on protecting and studying gorillas while supporting local communities in conservation.  Learn about the life of the legendary American Primatologist, Dian Fossey who spend 18 years in Volcanoes National Park protecting and saving the mountain gorillas from extinction until she was brutally murdered by the gorilla poachers. 

Then, cross the border into Uganda and drive to Africa’s most beautiful lake, Lake Mutanda. From there, you will go gorilla trekking and experience all sorts of things on and around the lake. 

The next stop is Buhoma, on the northern edge of the Bwindi Rainforest. Here, you will participate in a dance workshop and cooking class led by a local women’s group. In Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will enjoy a truly fantastic boat safari and, of course, a car safari! You will also visit the Kyambura women’s coffee cooperative. In Kibale Forest, you will go on a chimpanzee trekking and take a beautiful swamp walk, where you can spot numerous monkey and bird species! You will end your trip end in Entebbe Town of Uganda.
