Turaco Treetops Lodge

Access & Location

Turaco Treetops is located on a 5.2-hectare forest property near Kibale Forest National Park in western Uganda. It takes only 10 minutes to drive from the lodge to the park gate where chimp tracking begins. Guests usually arrive through Entebbe International Airport, then take a domestic flight to Kasese Airstrip. From Kasese, the drive to the lodge takes about two hours, passing through beautiful tea plantations and green hills. You can also drive from Kampala or Entebbe directly, which takes around 5 to 6 hours on a scenic road. The trip is long but full of great views of villages, markets, and Uganda’s lovely countryside.
